T-MEAD is a reusable pill dispenser composed of two key parts, a durable dispenser and communication cartridge. It sends adhereence information via a SIM card and can also be used with an app, where appropraite. The device includes a rechargeable battery that lasts for more than 30 days.

How it works

The T-MEAD pill dispenser dispenses TB medication to paitients daily. It automatically sends adherence information to the system to support patient monitoring. When used in conjuntion with an app, patients receive alarms and reminders to take their doses. Each cartridge holds 15 days of treatment so patients visit the health facility regularily for testing and refills.
